SERVICES AND PROGRAMS

I work with my clients to customize every program to meet their specific objectives – no “off-the-shelf” solutions here. Below are descriptions of some of the programs I have developed in collaboration with my clients to solve specific types of situations they most often face.

Team Effectiveness Programs

The inability to recognize and leverage individual differences can stifle the very heart of innovation in any organization even with a diverse and talented team. Failure to make the most of individuals’ unique styles, perspectives, and strengths often keeps work teams from delivering their best results.

I have created various work team programs ranging in length from one to several days that explore topics including personality styles, cultural differences, communication styles, leadership, and creativity. The focus is always on achieving better results as a team by developing a deeper understanding of each person’s strengths and style preferences. Cultural Competency Programs

Every day misunderstandings due to differences in cultural values, language, communication, work styles, and expectations contribute to missed deadlines, lost productivity, frustration, disappointment, and reduced profits in organizations. Cultural understanding and effective intercultural communication are essential as organizations diversify their workforces, expand globally and use rapidly changing technologies to work around the clock and across time zones.

I develop and deliver cultural competency programs for a variety of contexts, including non-profit organizations, university classrooms, and international corporations. Cultural Orientation Programs

Cultural differences in communication styles, business customs, and management philosophies can cause even the most talented employees to experience great difficulty operating effectively in a new work environment. Their previously successful strategies can be rendered ineffective, even counterproductive.

The cultural orientation programs I design and facilitate help clients ensure their international transferees integrate smoothly into their new organizational cultures, make relevant adjustments to their work styles, and quickly become productive members of their new work teams.
