Most training programs and group interventions are conceived sincerely and conducted with nothing but good intentions. However, intentions only have real value if they can be transformed into measurable and sustainable results which unfortunately are seldom the case. Every program I design has, at its core, a sharp and consistent focus on producing your desired results.

Communication is Not a “Soft” Skill
Every day misunderstandings and miscommunication due to language barriers and communication style differences contribute to missed deadlines, lost productivity, frustration, and disappointment all of which have a direct impact on your ability to serve customers, deliver products on time, and retain your best employees. Poor communication affects your bottom line and deserves an investment in time and resources comparable to the technical and functional skills that are typically perceived as more “serious.”

People may speak the same language and share the same organizational goals; however they can bring very different cultural backgrounds, personality styles, management philosophies, values, and worldviews to the workplace. This type of diversity can contribute greatly to innovation and creativity, but it can also make it much more difficult for people to understand how to work effectively with each other, especially when they first come together.

Participants always leave my programs with solid work goals and an understanding of how to apply the lessons they’ve learned and/or continue to explore the issues we’ve raised.
The long-term approach is critical. If you are looking for a “quick-fix,” I am probably not the right resource for you. I believe real transformation and improvement takes time, energy, and commitment from everyone involved.
